Riverview Water Damage Job Turns Into Mold Remediation
SERVPRO technicians answered a call from a local Riverview homeowner with a water damage issue. Upon arrival, the technicians found that one of the walls was not drying out as fast as this building material normally takes. The techs used their infrared cameras to scope the area and found it read cooler on the display, often indicating excessive moisture. The techs opened the walls as seen in the Before Photo and found a large amount of microbial growth. Initial testing of the air quality showed nearly an 8,000 spore count. Any building materials contaminated with mold require removal, and as seen in the After Photo, the homeowner had been living in the middle of an infestation. After the mitigation service ended, testing showed zero spores in the job site area.
